Hello all,

I have been sending out my customers weekly newsletters but noticed the response rate(i.e the opens and clicks rate) from hotmail/outlook customers is too minimal but most times 0.

I was wondering where my mails went because when i tested in couple of my own ids. It went to inbox and after 6 hours it was automatically moved to junk folder. I requested hotmail support, they asked me to join the Junk Mail Reporting Program but i didnt help me either. I read an article about the SCL values which is a scoring based on the content in the mail on how a message is perceived by the spam filters.
I also noticed the value is placed in the header by the msn people as
X-Message-Delivery: Vj0xLjE7dXM9MDtsPTA7YT0wO0Q9MTtHRD0xO1NDTD0w

when i decoded this i got a value as below:
V=1.1;us=0;l=0;a=0;D=1;GD=1;SCL=0

The information i can get from the internet is about only SCL values and l=0 fields in the header.

Can anyone tell me what does the other fields V=1.1,us=0,a=0;D=1,GD=1 mean?

Replies are very much appreciated as this could help me in improving my content and thereby increasing my response rates.

Regards,

Kumar
