Should I use a subdomain or a total separate domain for the sending relays

I know some companies use sub domains from their primary domain to send marketing emails from while others use totally separate domains.  Any pros or cons with going either setup, or is this just preference at this point.  -Newbie question.

It's best to separate your message streams for easier management.  As such, your bounces should go to something like bounces.yourdomain.com.

Try the following commands:
Quote
pmta show topdomains --errors
pmta show topqueues --errors
pmta --help

When PowerMTA won't start use:
Quote
pmtad --debug
When all else fails-->support@port25.com
