AOL Inbox
« on: September 29, 2011, 04:36:08 PM »

Hello,

All our messages sent to AOL don't even show up in inbox. It's not even showing up in log file of PMTA with a reason?

It's a mystery. Are we being blocked by AOL? I have contacted them, but no response yet.

Has anyone experienced this before?

The accounting file shows no record of those emails.

Then they may be still in the queue.  Have you checked the pmta web monitor?

This is what I found in Web monitor:

SMTP service unavailable: "421 4.7.1 : (DYN:T1) http://postmaster.info.aol.com/errors/421dynt1.html" received from mailin-03.mx.aol.com (205.188.59.193) while connected from redcampaign.redcappi.net (50.28.15.105) to mailin-03.mx.aol.com (205.188.59.193)

The 4xx error code returned by the remote site indicates that the remote site considers this a temporary error, and thus PowerMTA keeps it in the queue to retry.

(DYN:T1) is a temporary rate limiting by AOL because your sending IP does not have adequate or good reputation.
You should first build reputation on those IP's and then start sending faster in time.
