ISPs that require manual block removal requests.
« on: April 04, 2011, 04:02:21 PM »

Hi All,

I was wondering if any of the esteemed port25 users has a good list of ISPs that require manual block removal requests, such as comcast, ATT, where you have to fill out a form to be removed.

The purpose of this is I'm trying to setup a process to comb through the PMTA logs looking for strings that clients are being blocked etc. and maybe strings to look for in regards to particular ISPS that require manual removal. I'm not too concerned about yahoo and aol as they tend to drop blocks fairly quickly.

Hi,
Do aol and yahoo drop blocks quick? What is your estimate? DO you have a list of when any other ISPs drop ip blocks?
Thanks,
lc

The list I have so far that requires manual removal is , juno/united online, ATT, comcast, and verizon.net. I know there are more but I haven't had time to research.

AOL/Yahoo generally drop true blocks after 24 hrs from what I've seen. Deferrments vary.
