hotmail ECONNRESET

Getting a lot of this in the management console for some of our VMTAs' Hotmail queues. Anybody else experience this? Is it worth worrying about?

Connection failed (send(3)), status = ECONNRESET while connected from host.example.com (10.2.3.4) to mx4.hotmail.com (65.55.92.152)
Connection settings for Hotmail are in line with what's recommended elsewhere on the forum. I was considering reducing max-mxg-per-connection to 50, perhaps, to limit the length we keep any given connection open.

What results when you run the trace command for the queue? 

There may be a corresponding SMTP error that takes place within the same connection that provides the detail as to the source of the issue, while this TCP error may also be listed for the connection as a result of then abruptly breaking the connection after returning the real SMTP error.  Let us know what you find.
