ESP Friendly ISPs
« on: June 16, 2011, 04:20:18 PM »

We've working with Codero for almost 5 years now, so far except for a few glitches, we didn't have any major problems with them.
But recently, when I requested 32 more IPs to my account, they rejected it due to lack of justification.

My questions are:

- What should I use as justification? I need more sending IPs, so I told them this. Any advices?

- Can you point me to more ESP friendly ISPs to move my business? Any referrals?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, with the exhausted IPv4 pool, you will get this kind of reply more and more.
IANA is setting extreme high standards for those who request large IP blocks, so in turn the IP block owners will not be throwing them at your feet sort a speak.

Sorry, we are a European based company so I can't help you out on USA based ISP's.

Hello Baris,

We have been working Layeredtech for almost 5 years. No problem and good support.

They are still friendly about IP requests. I could advise you them. Ask them about ip before renting the server.

Thanks

we got a new used /23 recently from ripe with the requirements to use at least 75% in six months, if not they will reclaim the block, so you should try to get a /24 or /25 PI-IP range, PI-IP have the benefit, that you can switch you hoster or datacenter partner and take the IPs withyou...
