Hi all, just thought I would share some recent findings I have had with Mimecast blocking.
There are multiple way of blocking a sender in Mimecast. It can be by content, sender address (Return-Path domain) or Ip address. You can generally tell what kind of block it is based on the delivery response in your accounting file.
If the customer is the only one that is currently blocking you, you need to contact the customer directly and not Mimecast as their hands are tired when it comes to permitting an external sender for a particular customer. The customer needs to whitelist the domain in their own configuration settings.
