Gmail Testing Accounts Creation
« on: December 09, 2011, 06:28:28 AM »

Hello,

I know this is hardcore forum for only posts related to powermta, but still I am stucked with some problem and wanted suggestion on this.

My problem is, when I start testing for my emails whether they are going inbox or spam, I found that on some gmail accounts my mails are in inbox while on some accounts they are in spam. Now why gmail filter behaves in such manner.

If we go for hotmail, yahoo or any other ISP, if your mail is inbox it will be in inbox on all accounts.

Please anybody can help me on this, or if possible can please help on how to create gmail accounts, so that it will show me the proper output.

Thanks

IMAO

Probably because now, user engagement is an important variable in the process of classify an email message. This variable was scored per email account and not per ESP/ISP.

According to this theory, the below affirmation is false.

Hey Calvin,

I think you misunderstood me.

We are not into spamming business. May be your experience is bit less.

I just wanted to ask, whenever we test our emails on gmail accounts, we find on some accnts the mail is inbox, on some its spam. What may be the problem behind this.

By asking this question it doesn't show that we are into spamming business.

Thanks

Clicking, opening or otherwise engaging with emails affect the way they are classified on your account, especially on yahoo and gmail. Hotmail does this too, but on a lower scale.

Absolutely correct ! And is the cause of what poster is seeing.
